Digital marketingit is today a hybrid field: it combines technology, data, creativity and an ever-changing legislation. The Digital Marketing working group brings together professionals and companies that build the digital strategy of Romanian brands, with the aim of raising the professional standards of the industry.

From SEO, performance media and content, to marketing automation, generative AI applied to content and compliance (GDPR, ePrivacy, cookies), the landscape is evolving rapidly. The working group provides a space for the exchange of expertise between specialists, agencies, in-house teams and technology partners, while contributing to the formation of a unified voice of the industry.

We work with professional associations (IAB, ARMO), media platforms and international partners to align local practices with European standards.

The objectives of the working group

  • Promoting professional and ethical standards in Romanian digital marketing
  • Organization of workshops, certifications and specialization sessions
  • Exchange of best practices on SEO, social media, content, performance, marketing automation, AI
  • Supporting SMEs in the digitalization of the marketing function
  • Sector studies and market reports useful to members
  • Connections with IAB Romania, ARMO and relevant European actors

  • Compliance and consumer privacy— GDPR, ePrivacy, cookie management, AI Act
  • Performance and measurability— attribution, server-side tracking, customer data platforms
  • Branding and content— narrative, social media, influencer marketing, video

The group is open to marketing and advertising agencies, in-house marketing teams, freelance specialists, martech and adtech technology developers, communication researchers and teachers.
