1. Introduction and Acceptance

Welcome to the official website of the Association for Information and Communication Technology from Romania (ATIC). By accessing and using this website, you agree to fully comply with the terms and conditions presented below. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our website.

2. Definitions and General Terms

  • ATIC: Association for Information and Communication Technology from Romania, independent and non-governmental organization, founded in 1991.
  • Members: Legal or natural persons who have joined ATIC and have paid the membership fee.
  • Website: Online platform of ATIC accessible at atic.tarainteractive.com
  • Services: Information, resources, events, working groups and other facilities offered by ATIC to its members.
  • User: Any person who accesses the ATIC website.

3. Rights and Obligations of Members

3.1 Member Rights

  • Access to relevant information in the IT&C field, including legislative updates and funding opportunities
  • Participation in events, conferences, exhibitions and economic missions organized by ATIC
  • Opportunity to collaborate with other member companies at national and international level
  • Participation in specialized working groups (CyberSecurity, BlockChain, AI, Robotics, Medicine, etc.)
  • Access to consultancy and assistance in accessing non-refundable European funds
  • Right to vote in the General Assembly of ATIC
  • Visibility and promotion in mass media and within the ATIC community
  • Special discounts at events involving ATIC
  • Eligibility to be nominated for Innovation and Technological Excellence Awards

3.2 Member Obligations

  • Compliance with ATIC Statute and all internal regulations
  • Timely payment of annual membership fee (1,000 RON for year 2026)
  • Professional and ethical conduct within the ATIC community
  • Respect for the confidentiality of information obtained through ATIC
  • Active participation in the association’s initiatives and projects
  • Transparent and honest communication with other members

4. Use of Website and ATIC Services

Users undertake to:

  • Use the ATIC website exclusively for legal purposes and in compliance with Romanian law
  • Not transmit false, misleading or offensive information
  • Respect the intellectual property of ATIC and other members
  • Not reproduce, adapt or distribute website content without explicit consent from ATIC
  • Not access or attempt to access systems, data or accounts without authorization
  • Not introduce viruses, malware or other harmful code
  • Not harass, intimidate or discriminate against other users

5. Copyright and Intellectual Property

All content on the ATIC website, including texts, images, graphics, logos and any other material, are protected by copyright and intellectual property rights. Users do not have the right to reproduce, adapt or distribute these materials without prior written authorization from ATIC.

Members are permitted to use ATIC content exclusively for internal purposes and for their direct benefit in relation to ATIC activities.

ATIC members undertake to:

  • Avoid conflicts of interest and disclose them if they arise
  • Promote equality and non-discrimination within the ATIC community

9. Changes to Terms

ATIC reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will become effective immediately upon publication on the website. Continued use of the website after changes are published implies acceptance of the new terms.

10. Termination of Membership

Membership status with ATIC may be terminated following:

  • Written requests from the member
  • Non-payment of annual membership fee
  • Serious breach of ATIC Statute or internal regulations
  • Conduct inconsistent with ATIC values and principles
  • Exclusion voted in the General Assembly

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from website use or relations between ATIC members will be resolved first through friendly negotiation. If negotiation fails, procedures provided in the ATIC Statute will be applied.

Any legal action will be brought in accordance with Romanian law and will fall under the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bucharest, Romania.

12. Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed and interpreted according to Romanian law. Members and users are fully subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Romania.
