Tremend, one of Europe’s fastest growing technology companies, and certSIGN, an accredited trust service provider, have entered into a strategic partnership to digitize the interaction between customers and companies by integrating identification flow and remote qualified electronic signature into the TORP digital onboarding platform.
TORP is the first solution in Romania that implemented a video-assisted remote customer identification flow – eKYC (Electronic Know Your Customer), a process audited and certified by the LSTI company from France in the context of issuing qualified certificates. In this way, compliance with national regulations and European legislation regarding electronic identification and trust services for electronic transactions is guaranteed.
User identification is done through a real-time video stream, with the same level of technical security and legal compliance as face-to-face recognition, in accordance with all global directives: AML5 (Anti-Money Laundering), GDPR, SCA (Strong Customer Authentication) and eIDAS Regulation 910/2014.

Paperless este auditată și certificată ca dispozitiv de creare a semnăturilor electronice calificat, conform Regulamentului eIDAS. In this way, remote electronic signatures with legal value can be made without a token and without the installation of special drivers, from any device, from anywhere and at any time, guaranteeing secure data processing and storage and a high degree of protection against cyber attacks.
The partnership between Tremend and certSIGN proposes an ecosystem that solves and ensures compliance with national and European legislation regarding electronic identification and trust services. At the same time, it makes a major contribution to the complete digitization of all processes in a company by eliminating conventional methods of identification, authentication and document signing.
Thus, it is no longer necessary to travel to the provider’s physical premises to conclude contracts, approve internal procedures, leave requests or request other digital products or services. The entire flow is compliant with the eIDAS Regulation, which means that it complies with the European Union’s regulation on electronic identification and trust services for electronic transactions.
