The solution uses AI technology developed by TypingDNA, an innovative company that provides behavioral biometrics and authentication SaaS solutions based on how users type and interact with a device.
application observedED is the digital tool that replaces a supervisor during a written exam and is integrated into the Moodle plugin. Moodle is the most popular system open-source learning management system (LMS – Learning Management System), with over 100 million users worldwide. At the same time, this LMS is supported by a strong community of partners and independent developers and is constantly adapted to the most demanding learning requirements.
The solution is dedicated to faculties, universities, eLearning platforms, training and certification providers, who need a 100% digital approach, not only to the teaching and learning process, but also to taking exams.
application observedED integrates cutting-edge technologies in identity validation. Enrollment of users is done by scanning, with the help of the video camera of the device on which the exam is taken, the security elements of the identity document.
Using artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms developed by TypingDNA, the unique way users type is verified, establishing a personalized biometric fingerprint for each individual user.
Based on the software solutions created by Tremend, observedED makes an analysis of the browsing history in browsing to check if the user accesses other sites during the online exam. At the same time, at regular time intervals, the application captures the video camera of the device used by the examined person, so that it is not replaced by someone else. Users are thus continuously checked and monitored throughout the testing, and in case of suspicious behavior, the platform sends alerts to the examining institution.
observedED is a multi-module solution with emerging technologies that provide the same security, compliance and safety as face-to-face examination, and as a result of integrated software, it is impossible to fool.
By automating the examination process, institutions ensure that they retain total control, substantially reducing costs and time spent on planning, organizing and supervising students or pupils. At the same time, at the end, they benefit from a detailed report of each examinee.
