Tremend, nominated by Deloitte and FT1000 in the top of the most dynamic technology companies in the region, recorded a turnover of 21 million Euros in 2020, 40% higher than the previous year, maintaining the upward trend of recent years.
For 2021, the company aims for business of 30 million Euros, both by consolidating its presence on the US, UK and Benelux markets, and by increasing the number of customers, as a result of the partnerships concluded with Mastercard, Salesforce and Microsoft.
In this sense, 50 new clients entered the Tremend portfolio, coming from Germany, Great Britain, USA, Belgium, Israel, Romania, from fields such as retail, finance, insurance, technology.
The software development company will continue to focus in the next period on the implementation of digitization projects in four strategic directions: financial services, services for the European Commission, technology and retail.
“We have an ambitious growth target for this year, supported by the digitization trends of the market, both locally and internationally. We also rely on our 15 years of technical expertise in providing products customized to the needs of each company, delivering solutions for automating sales flows and supporting companies in migrating from classic channels to self-service, fully digitalized ones”, declares Ioan Cocan, Managing Partner, Tremend.
Tremend will continue to invest this year in its own products in areas such as financial services and eLearning, in emerging technologies including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Cloud, Natural Language Processing (NLP) or UI/UX. The company will also put a strong focus on doubling the number of clients in the Benelux region from 11 at the moment and increasing projects at the European Commission and other European institutions.
At the team level, working entirely remotely, Tremend will this year recruit 150 software engineers, specialists in technologies such as Java, Python, PHP, Angular, React, C++, Android, iOS and QA, as well as Project Managers and Business Analysts. After in the past years Tremend strengthened its team in the Brașov office, which currently has 40 specialists, it also plans to develop a team in the Benelux region, with up to 25 new colleagues, in the coming period.
The company thus continued the upward trend in 2020, as a result of the team’s focus on research and development of digital transformation solutions. They supported companies to more easily overcome the impact produced by the pandemic generated by Covid-19.
